You may have noticed a peculiar sight at Muni stops across San Francisco Friday – protesters chowing down on pizza.
The carb fest was no celebration of the cheesy goodness, but a protest.
On March 5, a homeless senior was cited for eating a slice of pizza at the Market and Seventh Street bus stop. He had purchased the pie for his pal’s birthday.

Where did the no food or drinks on Muni and at transportation stations rules come from? We no where they can go. Not a very friendly way to treat people forced to take public transit.
