  1. This is a waste of money and the SFMTA needs to run a world class transportation network and return the Dept of Parking & Traffic to the SFPD.

  2. The MTA needs to be curtailed or dissolved, probably through ballot initiative. We need candidates for office in San Francisco to oppose this madness. Working people are fed up with being used both as pawns in a giant social engineering experiment, and as ATM machines to make up for budget shortfalls caused by city mismanagement. Stop running the Muni as a free limo service for can scrounges and dirty, filthy bums.

    1. A 21st Century Muni should be free for all. If you don’t like “can scroungers,” go live somewhere else. They were here first, and will be here after you go back to Kansas or wherever.
What is needed are specialized vehicles for different purposes; wheelchairs and strollers, Tourons with luggage, yipsters with backpacks, Grannies with shopping carts, bicycles, etc. Maybe Tesla could design some electric vehicles along these lines.
